1 CORINTHIANS
Jesus’ call to deny ourselves and follow after Him comes with great cost, but even greater reward. The new identity He gives us is far greater than anything we could ever find in this world. Yet we still struggle to fully let go of what we have known, in order to fully take hold of what He has given to us. Furthermore, we struggle to do this in community with others. We aren’t the first to experience these struggles. As we journey through this first letter to the church in Corinth, we find a church whose experiences are not unlike our own. Within its pages, we find a great promise: Jesus has already given us all that we need to live as His people. Journey with us as we seek to become the people, the church, Christ has already made us to be!
